Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

The short version: 100% prepaid, no lock-in, cancel anytime, and a full refund if we can't set up your groups to your satisfaction before activation.

1. The service

Signal Admin Services provides an automated bot that enforces the rules you set, answers community-directory questions, and redirects off-topic posts in Signal groups you invite it to. Every plan includes every feature and unlimited Signal groups.

2. Plans and usage-only pricing

What counts as a message: every message posted by a member in an active Signal group that the bot moderates counts as 1 pooled message checked. The bot's own warnings and replies, and messages posted while a group is paused or in pre-activation setup, never count against your pool. Your allowance is shared across all of your groups.

3. Billing: 100% prepaid via Square

All plans and top-up packs are paid in advance through Square. We never bill you automatically for overages. You choose usage reminders (at 50, 75, 85, and/or 95% of your pool, plus optional weekly or monthly summaries) by Signal DM, email, or both. If your pool reaches 100%, we notify you and moderation pauses until you add a top-up pack or your next billing cycle begins.

4. Rollover

Your base monthly message allowance refreshes at the start of each monthly billing cycle. Prepaid 1,000-message top-up packs never expire and roll over month to month until used.

5. Welcome touchpoint and activation

After checkout, we want to get in touch with you by phone or email so we can best serve you, tailor your rules, and confirm the exact list of groups the bot should join. The bot activates in your groups after this touchpoint. It does not join or moderate any group you haven't confirmed.

6. Cancellation and refunds

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for groups you own or administer, or have permission to moderate, and in line with applicable law and Signal's own terms. You may not use the service to harass, surveil, or deanonymize people, to send spam, or to facilitate illegal activity. We may decline or suspend service for abuse, and we may refuse to join any group.

8. Your responsibilities

You set the rules the bot enforces and decide whether to grant it admin rights. Automated moderation can make mistakes, so please review strike thresholds and escalation settings with us during setup. You can adjust or pause enforcement at any time.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains our zero message-retention model and how we handle client contact details.

10. No affiliation with Signal

Signal Admin Services is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Signal Messenger LLC or the Signal Technology Foundation. "Signal" is used only to describe compatibility.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not responsible for outages or changes to the Signal platform outside our control.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll update the date above and notify active clients of material changes before they take effect.
